Vintage Estate Mink Fur Coat. This Furs label is A.H. Herman. The measurements are Sweep (which is when the fur is entirely opened the hem) 54 1/2"--- Armpit to armpit 22"---Shoulder seam to wrist 25 3/4"---Length from under collar 48 1/2"--Shoulder to shoulder 19 1/2". FOLKS I TRY TO BE AS HONEST AS POSSIBLE when writing the descriptions. Please SEE the photos where I point out vintage blemishing. Not bad but I don't like surprises myself and I am not going to Suprise my customers! SEE LAST 3 PHOTOS. Collar Down you can't see the seam. The armpit area I picked up to point out the worn blemish. Arm down you cannot notice.
This is definitely not your big box store mink. It is truly a classic. It does appear to have been cared for and stored properly. I feel it was a loved and worn fur. After inspecting the mink, I would grade it at a B. Our home is clean and nonsmoking.
The lining is absolutely exquisite. Imagine the time it took for the embroidery. All hand work. NOT YOUR BIG BOX STORE for sure.
Hooks and rings to close. Monogrammed initials in the lining. A inside pocket. A inside tie belt to close. Pockets on each side.
